Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InspectPilot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the mobile application and website.

2. Description of Service

InspectPilot is a software platform designed for home inspection professionals. The Service enables users to capture inspection data (photos, videos, voice notes), generate AI-assisted inspection reports, and manage their inspection workflow. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
  • Upload content that is fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including photos, videos, voice recordings, and inspection data ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. We do not review inspection reports for professional accuracy or compliance with local regulations.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist in generating inspection report narratives, transcribing voice recordings, and extracting findings from inspection data. AI-generated content is provided as a drafting aid only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before including it in a final inspection report.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or professional adequacy of AI-generated content. You remain solely responsible for the final inspection report delivered to your clients.

7. Fees & Payment

Certain features of the Service may require payment. Pricing, billing cycles, and payment terms will be presented to you before any charges are incurred. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated otherwise.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, all of your data — including inspection records, uploaded media, and generated reports — will be permanently removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InspectPilot and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

InspectPilot is not a licensed inspection authority. The Service is a tool to assist inspection professionals — it does not replace professional judgment, training, or compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InspectPilot from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your inspection reports and professional activities.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.
